Ehssan Sakhaee received the B.Eng. (Hons) and Ph.D degrees from the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, University of Sydney, Australia in 2004 and 2008 respectively. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, Osaka University, Japan. His research interests include mobile ad hoc and sensor networks. He has served as a technical reviewer for many international conferences including IEEE ICC, WCNC, Globecom, ISWCS, MASS, PIMRC, HPSR and European Wireless, and technical reviewer for the IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, Journal of Communications and Networks (JCN), IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology (IEEE TVT), and other IEEE, IEICE and Wiley journals. He has also served on technical program committees at international conferences and chaired technical sessions. He is a member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Australian Research Council Communications Research Network (ACoRN), and Australian Center on Quality of Life (ACQOL).
Dr. Sakhaee is a member of the project titled "Center of Excellence for Founding Ambient Information Society Infrastructure", which is supported by the Japan Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) Global COE (Centers of Excellence) program. The project focuses on biologically-inspired networking.
